BCIT Projects
I completed the first two years of my Interior Design degree at BCIT. In these introductory years, there was a focus on foundational skills including hand drafting, sketching, and using the design process.
"Zest" Corporate Headquarters
This design is for the corporate headquarters for Zest, a health and lifestyle magazine. To emphasize the ideals of the company, the concept for the design is fresh, light and simple. The space plan for this office met a very specific program and adjacency criteria, as well as code requirements for fire safety. I used specifications from Herman Miller's "My Studio Environments" line of systems furniture for the workstations in the design. Materials involved low- or no-VOC finishes to optimize air quality for the office.
Fervour Restaurant
The concept of this restaurant was romantic and bold. I used rich colours and textures to create a luxurious feeling in the space, and used focal points such as eye-catching light fixtures, large fireplaces, and strong architectural elements to create drama.

Peer 33 Clothing Store
Peer 33 is a mens' clothing store, whose concept can be described as sleek, dynamic, and modern. The primary focus shown here is on the in-depth examination of merchandising strategies for product storage and displays. Analysis of the business and product, and the coordination of these with with code requirements for circulation in the space were the biggest criteria.
